TakeLessons is America's largest full-service music lessons company. We currently work with teachers in over 2,800 cities and are expanding to your area! We have also partnered with Best Buy and its Musical Instrument Division to increase the number of potential students exposed to music and music lessons.
We are looking for music instructors who are committed to excellence in teaching and to helping our students succeed! Compensation is based on location, education, and experience. Positions are supplemental to your current teaching efforts.
Responsibilities
Provide skilled music and/or voice instruction to students ages 5 and up
Develop customized lesson plans.
Track student progress through online lesson journals
Be professional: on time, helpful, patient, friendly, and respectful.
Maintain a consistent line of communication via phone and email
Give your students a WOW experience!
Qualifications
Commitment to students’ progress and success
Bachelor’s degree in a music related degree, be currently enrolled in music program or have equivalent teaching experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level of initiative
The ability to travel to students' homes

No studio required! Travel to students in your community at a distance that you set
We handle the scheduling, billing, and marketing so that you can focus solely on teaching!
Through our partnership with Best Buy, students can now purchase lessons in a Best Buy or on their website, further expanding the exposure of our program and our teachers
